1. ODI – India vs England

England made an admirable effort in their final ODI of this series to narrowly lose by four runs, but India’s bowlers led by Kranti Goud kept up their excellent work to win it by three wickets and claim their first-ever ODI series victory against England in this format.

England had an opportunity to win their fifth white-ball series victory against India at Edgbaston but were ultimately unsuccessful despite mounting an excellent fightback. Harmanpreet Kaur’s team were unflappable throughout this five-match ODI series and thoroughly deserved this result.

Lamb is now within striking distance of hitting 100, although her attacking strokes against spin still seem forced; she attempted to slog-sweep Charani several times but without success.

2. T20I – India vs England

India secured their place in Sunday’s final of T20I by narrowly beating England by seven runs in an exciting contest. Jacob Bethell batted brilliantly to stay with England until Harmanpreet delivered an early yorker while spinner Varun Chakravarthy held off pressure by bowling slower balls under pressure to see off England.

England’s hopes of pulling off a remarkable heist seemed slim after Phil Salt and Harry Brook were dismissed in quick succession before Samson was run out off the first ball of the penultimate over by Shivam Dube. Jofra Archer made three sixes but it wasn’t enough to save England from defeat; India now will go head-to-head against New Zealand for glory in the final.

3. T20I – India vs England

Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket is an exciting form of fast-paced competition played between two national teams; each side bats for 20 “overs.” An over consists of six balls bowled by a single player. This fast-paced form of cricket can make for some truly thrilling entertainment!

T20I matches are scored using a unique system that awards teams points based on how well they perform, helping the International Cricket Council keep tabs on who are among the world’s best teams and determine whether or not they qualify for participation in ICC World Twenty20 tournament. Only those teams deemed worthy move on to play.

India and England met again for their third T20I match, and India came away victorious by an overwhelming 499 run margin to advance to the final. This marked India’s debut appearance in an T20I final matchup since 2006.

4. T20I – India vs England

India women sealed an historic series win in England, defeating England Women 4-2 at T20Is to complete an unforgettable campaign victory. Harshit Rana made an impressive comeback following her concussion scare by taking three wickets while their hosts were dismissed for just 166.

Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues’ departure left the visitors reeling, but Ravi Dube and Hardik Pandya’s 62-run partnership provided much-needed impetus. Jasprit Bumrah (3-133) proved his mettle once more; Axar Patel took an extraordinary tumbling catch to dismiss Harry Brook (7) before also contributing via her relayed effort against Will Jacks.

Nat Sciver-Brunt’s blistering 50 was in vain as Bethell was unable to cope with Kranti Gaud’s spin – she took two fours off the first over she bowled and hit three sixes before falling for 77 off 52 balls.

5. T20I – India vs England

Jacob Bethell’s 105 from 48 balls threatened England a rare white-ball victory at Wankhede but ultimately fell seven runs short in a hard-fought contest. Shivam Dube hammered Liam Dawson for 19 off the first ball of the eighth over and added three sixes off Varun Chakravarthy; leaving England an impossible 254 run target.

Jasprit Bumrah’s miserly spell ensured England’s required run rate continued to increase, even with Axar Patel making an amazing catch over his shoulder to dismiss Harry Brook and Will Jacks respectively, however Bethell came just short of an outstanding achievement and now face New Zealand in Sunday’s final.

6. T20I – India vs England

India, through a thrilling night of drama with 499 runs scored and 34 sixes hit, narrowly edged ahead to take part in Sunday’s final against New Zealand. England were left reeling after Jacob Bethell scored an outstanding 105 off 48 balls containing seven sixes; yet Axar Patel made two stunning catches at deep cover to deny them Harry Brook off Will Jacks while also intercepting Sanju Samson’s miscued uppercut throw-ins in spectacular fashion.

Shivam Dube’s outstanding 67 off 27 and Hardik Pandya’s 21 off 12 proved enough for India and threw England off track, culminating with their final over bowled by Varun Chakravarthy being hit for three sixes by Ishan Kishan as England were soundly defeated – already out of contention after two matches and this being their worst T20 performance since 2006. England should be ashamed at their performance given these circumstances.

7. T20I – India vs England

India was victorious in an electric battle at Mumbai to advance to their inaugural World Cup final, though Jacob Bethell’s astonishing 105 not out from 48 balls wasn’t enough to stop their defeat by India.

England faced an incredible match on Tuesday. They lost both openers early to Ishan Kishan and Jemimah Rodrigues but Bethell came through as an anchor, sharing an important 77-run partnership with Will Jacks before hitting three sixes off Liam Dawson before falling victim to Axar Patel’s brilliant relayed catch in the 17th over.

By then, Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandy had battered spinners Adil Rashid (2-40) and Sam Curran (1-18), and their run rate didn’t appear to slow. Tilak Varma scored 21 from seven for England while only Tilak Varma’s fine bowling performance and Archer’s 21 off seven gave any hope to its bowlers.

8. T20I – India vs England

Jacob Bethell’s amazing 105 in 48 balls took England close to an historic white-ball win at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai but ultimately it wasn’t enough as India won in an exciting, high-scoring thriller. England were asked to chase 254 but even with Bethell’s efforts it proved beyond them.

Jofra Archer hit three sixes in an impressive 23-ball 43 while Tom Banton added 17 off 12 but ultimately fell prey to Jasprit Bumrah, who struck yorkers to finish with 1-33.

Ravi Bishnoi (3-228) made a key contribution with his leg-spin, dismissing Duckett and Buttler within consecutive overs, Axar Patel taking an excellent catch and relay effort against Will Jacks, Varun Chakravarthy bowling two wicketless overs, all culminating in Bethell being run out on first ball – leaving only an anxious final over for Bethell before it ended with him being run out by an immediate run out.

9. T20I – India vs England

Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya bowled superbly to limit England to 241-8, leaving an impossible target of 254 at Wankhede Stadium for England to achieve.

England lost Phil Salt and Harry Brook early, but Bethell made up for it by scoring an astonishing 105 off 101 balls to keep England competitive in T20 cricket despite Axar Patel running him out off the first ball of the final over. Bethell became only the sixth T20 cricket player ever to reach three figures before eventually succumbing off his very own bowling of Axar Patel off ball one.

Jofra Archer hit three sixes late on to keep India at bay, but this wasn’t enough to stop their win and they will now play New Zealand in Ahmedabad for the final.

10. T20I – India vs England

Though India lost their final match at Edgbaston’s 5th T20 2025 series against England, India managed to complete their maiden bilateral T20 series win against them despite having trailed throughout. Shafali Verma led with 75 as they edged past by five wickets.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge had put England in an excellent position with 56 off 37 balls but India took the win thanks to Rahul Chahar’s last-ball six, hitting mid-on for six in his final over.

Radha Yadav and Shree Charani contributed four wickets between them to limit England to 126 for 7. Shafali made her presence felt early and was brutal on the short pitch, hitting three fours and 14 runs off Lauren Filer in just the second over – helping put England off to an excellent start with Harmanpreet Kaur adding another 66 runs quickly to their scorecard.
