2. Week 4

The Dolphins took control of the first possession after winning the coin toss and taking control of possession, but their early success quickly crumbled with self-inflicted mistakes and costly turnovers. Rookie Tahj Washington fumbled inside his own 20-yard line during their subsequent drive, and Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson connected with receiver Isaiah Likely for a TD pass to score immediately afterwards. Riley Patterson missed a field goal from 35 yards on Miami’s next possession; home fans began leaving Hard Rock Stadium. De’Von Achane led Dolphins downfield before linebacker Chop Robinson gave way and took away any chance for another successful field goal attempt from Riley Patterson from making that second half drive.

Derrick Henry broke 100 yards on his first drive of the third quarter, and Baltimore added two touchdown drives in quick succession to put away their opponent. Jackson returned at quarterback, run-blocking operations started slowly but gradually improved throughout the game, tight ends like Mark Andrews and Charlie Kolar each caught two touchdown passes, and overall this win strengthened their playoff prospects in AFC North.

4. Week 6

After an impressive opening drive by Miami, they quickly fell behind when Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson connected with tight end Mark Andrews on fourth down for a 2-yard touchdown putting Baltimore ahead 7-3 early in the first quarter. The Dolphins responded with running back De’Von Achane gaining one yard on his first carry and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle making an 11-yard catch from him on Jaylen Waddle’s 10th catch of the day. Although kicker Riley Patterson missed his field goal attempt, Baltimore still made significant headway in scoring range during the second quarter. Two consecutive three-and-outs prevented them from reaching scoring position however. Baltimore extended its lead in the third quarter when Jackson connected with Andrews for a 20-yard touchdown, then connected again in the fourth quarter with wide receiver Rashod Bateman for another 9-yard score that sealed their victory.

5. Week 7

The Ravens have had an outstanding defense since adding safety Alohi Gilman, freeing Kyle Hamilton up to roam around freely on defense. Their goal will be to keep Jaylen Wiggins and Tua Tagovailoa at bay from scoring points against them.

Lamar Jackson will return after missing three games due to a hamstring injury, eager to show that his injury woes are behind him and prove they don’t affect him any longer. He looks forward to facing his family and friends at home in his return matchup and can’t wait for this chance to prove his fitness once and for all.

Can the Ravens improve on their poor road record? Only four teams in the NFL have yet to secure any road wins this year; Baltimore needs some victories away from M&T Bank Stadium if they want to reach the playoffs. A win against Miami would give Baltimore some momentum; plus, this test would put their young cornerbacks against three Dolphins receivers at once!
